Serenity is the balance between good and bad, life and death, horrors and pleasures. Life is, as it were, defined by death. If there wasn’t death of things, then there
wouldn’t be any life to celebrate.

What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter – a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue.

Immagini stupende! Thank you for sharing them in this moment of profound universal sadness! Meditation can allow us to get in touch with our deepest Self, which can help us look at the world with hope and positivity. Serenity to your heart 🙂 c

Love every single image. I recently traveled to Dong Van – Ha Giang – Vietnam and had a chance to visit these tribal markets. They are very colorful and beautiful, plus the atmostphere was great. I shot as many as I can and then I was asking myself what if you were there and what would you photograph. I’m not sure about that, but I think will be must better than what I have now. The markets will be hold every 6 days. the name is: Pho Cao Market and Sa Phin Tribal Market. I like to include the links to my photographs below so just in case if you have time, you can take a look and maybe you will like it and want to visit it someday. Take care and stay safe during this time, sir.

Imagens maravilhosas, trazendo uma vibração positiva, serenidade e paz de espírito, tão necessárias para o momento que estamos passando.

I agree. These serenity words and shots brought me back to my youth when I practiced my spiritual faith. bb

Thank you Steve! These images are powerful reminders of the need for equanimity in a time of uncertainty. Looking into them brings a sense of peace, and yes, serenity.

I adore Your work, and follow you sinca Afgan girl. There is one mistake , I am from Croatia. Yugoslavia does not exist for 20 years. We had war for 4 years, and Republics that used to be Yougoslavia are now separate independent countries.Sometimes I see Yugoslavia under your pictures, mmay be they are from before.
