Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not… nothing is more common than unsuccessful people will talent. Genius will not… unrewarded genius is almost legendary. Education will not…. the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

The mother and daughter in Beirut, Lebanon speak to me most today.

On one hand, I am immediately thankful for the safety I live in.

On the other hand, I am in awe of her strength and resilience: The normalcy of preparing potatoes in the face of uncertainty while caring for her child makes me want to tackle my struggles with more gumption than I am.

Thank you Stevebhai for these outstanding photos from all over the world and equally beautiful quotes.

Your photos always inspire love, warmth and of course wanderlust. But most of all I feel moved by how dignified the people are notwithstanding their hardships. Thank you.

Beautiful people, my heart goes out to everyone of them, thank you so much for letting us take part in your photographic picture of the lives of others. And well picked quotes. Powerful! I must share on social media.

Your photos have a soul!!..whenever I stare at your Great works, I have the impression of being there….among your subjects!!!….congratulations!!! You are the Photographer of Human Being par excellence!!!

Thank you. Can you add a few Americans to your next gallery as well. The World is in crisis and we need to see those at home too, here in the US, being resilient as well. Mike
