Everything We Are

Kham, Tibet

Food is everything we are.
It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It’s inseparable from those from the get-go.

I’ve been into photography ever since I was a toddler and despite not having a spectacular camera I still take shots that are leave many aghast.Keep up with the good job soldier!

What a phenomenal series is this Sir! Each and every image in this series gives us glimpse of different cultures and food habits around the world. Priceless and timeless works Sir! ❤🙏🏻

I admired Photography by looking at your work when I was young. It took me some time to understand your work. Now I can’t get enough. Just ordered 2 of your books as a gift to myself for the upcoming festive season.
Much love from the country where you love photographing.

Steve, I’m sharing your blog with my students. They are middle schoolers, but the visual texts you invite them into teach so much they need. (I hope that’s okay with you!)

Sou do Brasil e amo o seu trabalho Steve! A comida brasileira também é riquíssima em sabor e harmonia entre as pessoas.

What a delicious aray of foods. Then I reached the last image, wow. I have sat in a Bedouin tent drinking tea & eating cakes in the Whadi Rum – took me right back. Such hospitality. Lovelly pictures!

Always so beautiful. And I never fail to learn a little something from your photos and words. Only the best to you. Stay healthy and stay safe.
Thank you so very much.
