Waiting doesn’t seem like an act, but the lack of action;  however,
the decision to be patient and willing to wait is an act of courage and perseverance.

This is so true in this pandemic too.

Thank you for your amazing pictures and for the patience it will have taken to capture these images. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Your work is the light which makes every moment of life so meaningful. The lessons through your priceless works give solace to the soul and inspire to act amidst all adversities. This series is so significant and thought-provoking Sir! ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻

Loved the photographs as always–but so tickled to see the Sheri Dew quote. She’s one of my favorite people.

Thank you so much for making your work so accessible! You constantly post on social media! I saw this on your story on Instagram and it really motivates me to make more of the content/ photography I want to do! You inspire me and I am forever grateful!

Any amount of waiting for Steve McCurry blog is worth its while. Each photo is worth a thousand words and the accompanying words of wisdom are a bonus!

Studying your photographs has taught me many things, but among the most important are: 1. Show your audience something they haven’t seen before, or wouldn’t be able to see otherwise, or something familiar in a way they have never seen it. And, 2. Have the ability to see when a great picture COULD happen, and then have the patience to wait until it appears. And then take the shot. #1 is something difficult to achieve, for those of us who live in the west and are not able to travel to ‘exotic’ locations; but #2 is a skill any photographer who aspires to take great pictures can and should cultivate… just takes patience.

Many thanks for sharing your pictures and wisdom so freely- John Vigran, Vaihingen an der Enz, Germany.
