Every one of us needs a home. The world needs a home.
There are so many young people who are homeless.
They may have a building to live in,

but they are homeless in their hearts.
That is why the most important practice
of our time is to give each person a home.

My favourite photo is the first one in Venice.

All those windows open, laundry hanging, bright paint. I’ve often wished I could live like that with my house wide open for all to be free to enter and the wind and sun flowing through. Alas, I live in Manitoba, Canada – prime real estate for mosquitos and some of the harshest winter weather. LOL.

But I can dream…

As always your work inspires. These images are intimate yet informative. I admire your work and your eye.

Love your work…but is it a work or a way of watching the world?!… thank you to touch my heart.
Sylvie from France

Steve,
These are breathtaking. I don’t know how you just keep on doing it with every photo. Your gift to the world. Thank you!
