What a rich joyful collection of human conversations
Such priceless and timeless works. Conversation is so important for us and we are loosing this nowadays being engulfed by modern technologies and nothing can replace the joy and emotional value of conversation. Love all the masterpieces in this phenomenal series. 🙏🏼❤️
Lovely, humane images
I love McCurry’s work. I am always impressed with the beauty of his photographs and the wisdom in the quotes he chooses. I especially liked this quote in this collection: “The true spirit of conversation consists in building on another’s observation, not overturning it.”
– Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton, 1803 – 1873
A beautifully curated blog and a reminder to us all of importance of our human need for communication through conversation.
The hits just keep on coming! Always inspiring – Always rich in cultures that I don’t think about …until Steve arrives in my inbox. Changes my rhythm and breathing.
Thank you 🙏
Steve has a way of showing the humanity, beauty, and depth of all human beings through his photography!
I love these photos. It reminds me of so many I have accumulated while traveling over the years, when people actually spoke to eachother.
I love watching the hands do the talking. These are wonderful.
Thanks, I missed this one somehow.

What a lovely post when so many of us are lost to others as we are perpetually looking down at our phones. Thank you for the reminder of what real living is all about.
I so resonate with this comment! I felt similarly.
