Look round and round upon this bare bleak plain,
and see even here, upon a winter’s day,
how beautiful the shadows are.

Alas!  It is the nature of their kind to be so.
The loveliest things in life are but shadows,
and they come and go, and change and fade away…

Amazing photos!! it is so rich in color, emotions, stories, i feel inspired by you Steve…great work

Awesome photography! I never imagined Mali to have a big body of water like that. The Niger perhaps? Very apropos selections of quotes too.

Although your photos are always very inspiring and beautiful, the ones you are showing us
today, are even better. At a level that makes that there are always several expositions of your work worldwide at the same time.Photography: scribing with light. Exactly what you are doing here.
