Happiness: The Power of the Ordinary

A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to having it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one’s neighbors.  Such is my idea of happiness.

It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving,
but like morning light it scattered the night and
made the day worth living.

Steve McCurry always makes amazing photos. He is a really talented at what ho does. I discovered him last year when i was in a book shop in Lisbon. The colour of his cover caught my attention and I have been following him since.

Happiness in the purest and most beautiful form. Happiness in the soul when we hug or when we smile; happiness that we share with the people we love and happiness that comes from the heart when we are alone. Happiness is beautifully captured in these photographs by Mr. McCurry because he has this wonderful ability to understand the language of the human soul.

Happiness is in simple things, the belief of ordinary. I have witnessed such priceless happy moments in this phenomenal series. Each and every masterpiece in this series is soulful and heartwarming. A great lesson from the God of photography to live a life with pure mind and gain the ability to extract happiness from simple things. ❤🙏🏻

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting!
Keeping in mind….Happiness cannot be found by amassing wealth, isolating oneself, or trusting in man’s limited knowledge. What has helped my family and I is to focus on the words at Acts 20:35
“There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving”

What an extraordinary spark of light that happiness is !, I love how each picture taken from different places holds a different perspective or fragment of happiness

You are an amazing artist. You can capture the deep souls of your photos. Truly gifted. Thank you for doing what you do.

Thank you for such a cheerful start of my morning. Your photos make me feel happy at least for the coming week.
